Summary: This receiver worked great all the way through the 2 year warranty period and then the Cable HDMI input socket stopped working. I called Denon USA and explained the problem and the representative suggested some fixes but ultimately I determined it's just plain broken.
Summary: So far, so good--I've always liked Denon products, so when I needed a new A//V receiver for the bedroom, I chose this one for both brand and price. Has all the settings I wanted, all the hookups we need, and simple, sleek operation. We quite like it. Makes our bedroom a mini-movie theatre.
Summary: I am very happy with this reciever. It is a great price for truly high end electronics. I purhased this receiver with polk audio surround speakers and it sounds great. It is a huge step up for me from those box set blu-ray/ surround sound combination at the store.
Summary: Very happy with the unit. The auto-configuration feature is nice, though I ended up increasing the bass settings, which—though I'm not bass-head—seemed to be set absurdly low. The menu could be a better, and I just don't get the 1/4" headphone jack... isn't that dated yet?
Summary: Not very good so far. The Panasonic receiver it is replacing has much better sound. I can't get the HDMI inputs to work correctly. so I can't play satellite through the receiver. I finally got the blue ray to play through it. BUT the sound is weak.
