Summary: I needed a new receiver after I retired my 10-year-old Denon and I was looking for a similar receiver but with HDMI ports. This one was inexpensive but, as I've had good luck with Denon in the past, I ordered it. I've had it up and running now for about 2 weeks and love it.
Summary: This completely meets my needs. Has all of the inputs and outputs I needed. Plenty of power, and great quality sound. I haven't been able to get the sync audio/video feature to work perfectly, but that might not be the units fault, but something to do with the cabling and/or dishnetwork service.
Summary: This receiver is overall a great value in my opinion. The sound quality is fantastic and there is no distortion. I havent tested the HDMI since my sources are all analog so all I can say is that my regular dvd player sounds and looks fantastic even though it's not blu-ray or HD.
Summary: A great option for a simple to set up and understand AV receiver. I run my Boston Acoustics speakers and through HDMI my satellite receiver, TV and ROKU........Very happy with the quality and ease of use
Summary: This is an AMAZING deal if you can get it under $150. Even at $200, it's great. I've yet to try it with digital audio, but the analog I've used so far has been great. There's tons of options to customize sound to your speakers.
Summary: this sound system works great!!! theres actually no need to buy an expensive one...thats for people who just want to show off!! it works perfect, sounds amazing!! does everything you need it to do and its 1/2 the price of everything else that does exactly the same!!!
Summary: This is a terrific receiver for an entry-level home theater setup. The sound quality is excellent, they setup is easy and the interface is fairly intuitive. For around $250, it's hard to beat. One thing to note, though, is that this model doesn't have a USB port for your iPad.
