Summary: I run my DenonAVR-1312. Whit a pair of Yamha ns555 4 ways, a Polkaudio center, and a 2700 watt sun fire sub, all people who here this system are blown away by the sound, they com pair it to a walk in theater, but better, and the Demon AVR-1312.is the heart of my system, and give it A 5+.
Summary: Firstly, I must confess that I love music. I love reproduced sound. I am a techie. So, I'll go right into it...the AVR-1312 is simply awesome. Denon has added audiophile features while keeping the costs low. The setup required some attention, but worked out well.
Summary: This receiver is overall a great value in my opinion. The sound quality is fantastic and there is no distortion. I havent tested the HDMI since my sources are all analog so all I can say is that my regular dvd player sounds and looks fantastic even though it's not blu-ray or HD.
Summary: Build quality is excellent. I recently sold an onkyo 876 (excellent receiver) because it was too big to fit in the bookcase above my fireplace. Having owned several high-end audio components over the years I found that I did not use most of the "bells and whistles" that they offered.
Summary: This is an AMAZING deal if you can get it under $150. Even at $200, it's great. I've yet to try it with digital audio, but the analog I've used so far has been great. There's tons of options to customize sound to your speakers.
Summary: This is my first experience with a Denon product, and I must say that I am overall very happy with this purchases. The AVR-1312 is Denon's first entry level offering, featuring their great quality design with affordable pricing.
Summary: I connected this Denon AV receiver to five speakers and a subwoofer. There was no sound coming from the subwoofer until I made an adjustment to the speaker configuration. The default settings didn't do the job. The clearly-written manual got me through all problems of the setup though.
Summary: This receiver rocks. It is probably entry level and basic but it allowed me to hookup my AT&T UVerse, Apple TV, and Blu-Ray Player to hit through HDMI with great results. The monitor out is nice since it gives you an on screen menu to tweak the receiver. Great purchase.
