this receiver has some pretty serious problems with HDMI pass through

Summary: As others have stated, this receiver has some pretty serious problems with HDMI pass through, probably because of a handshake problem. The only way I could get my HTPC to work was to pass the audio through the audio receiver with an optical cable and run the video straight to my TV with an HDMI...
Summary: Purchased this product less than two years ago with supposedly excellent reviews. Worked fine until the amplifier circuit board failed. No warranty coverage because it came from an "unauthorized" dealer. Incidentally there are not many authorized dealers.
Summary: While it worked, the unit was fine. The setup instructions were almost inscrutable, however. It broke while under warranty (kept going in to standby mode). Returned to Denon's repair people. 5 weeks later still waiting. Excuse after excuse. To date, Denon has been less than understanding.
Summary: I bought the Denon AVR-1312 in February and had it installed. The unit worked fine until Friday, August 24, 2012. Then, it decided that it would no longer provide video to my TV. How do I know that it's the Receiver ???
Summary: I purchased this Denon AVR-1312 5.1 because it seemed like a great value for the price paid. It's been 45 days since purchased and the sound skips and at times is completely gone and I have to turn it off and back on to get it to work for a while.
Summary: I made the mistake of not fully considering previous negative reviews and purchased this item based on price. As noted in previous reviews, I had trouble getting *any* HDMI device to work with this receiver. I checked manual and verified connections multiple times.
Summary: Only 1 Optical and 1 coax audio inputs, but won't pass through HDMI video & when it does, it's only for 10 minutes or so. Gets worse by the week. Second completely unreliable Denon receivers owned now. Why did I come back for seconds? Good reviews. Oops.
Summary: I bought this receiver for the HDMI pass-through. When I hooked it up I noticed that the picture on my TV was pixelated during fast moving scenes. When I plugged the HDMI back into the my Xbox directly it went away. I was really looking forward to this receiver because I thought Denon was the best.
Summary: It was a nice inexpensive unit at first. Easy to hook up components. Simple features. Nice remote. Power amp became a issue at 12 months. Volume diminished. Then it slowly died around 18 months. On/off/standby would start flashing red. Turning it off and on several times would help then nothing.
