Summary: Have used Denon audio components for decades; some 30 years, and they still work. All I needed was an amp w/digital optical for a new plasma tv. This unit fit the bill perfectly. It is easier to set up through the tv, rather than the unit's display, but very easy on the tv.
Not bad for the price. I was not expecting better.

Summary: I wanted a receiver afordable and easey to use. this one does that. It does not function ass good as pioneer vsx-d812 in sound quality. But you get what you pay for and for the price, is not bad.
Summary: I was amazed to see this amp with 2 HDMI outputs. At the price this amp is going for its almost unheard of. Contemplating buy this product, i went to the DENON website to check the full specs. This is a direct quote form the site: HDMI Switching - input 4 - output 1 And here is a link to the website so you can check the information yourself: [...] As you can see there is only one HDMI output.
Summary: I'm disappointed with tjhis. It works fine but no oomph off the volume. You have to pump it to get good sound. A review described this as a HDMI switch box with an amp built in. I agree. I should have paid a little extra for the sony.
Summary: As you can see from the title, I am no expert in the field of high fidelity or in fact home cinema systems. Before choosing this product, I decided to read independent reviews all of which gave this product a glowing report and value for money. The first thing I noticed was that this was a well built product which certainly looked the part. The connections at the rear almost seem to overwhelm me and far exceeded my requirements.
