Summary: It would sell the game short to say that it is a simple "down-port" or "de-make" of the console version created by Sonic Team. In fact, it's clear that it was never meant to merely duplicate the experience of the PC/PS3/360 version at all, but rather, to be a full-fledged entirely-separate game in its own right. In that, I think developer Dimps has succeeded. I will say that the game is ... a bit silly.
It's like the lost chapter of the main Sonic Generations. It works.

Summary: On the HD consoles, Sonic Generations is a 3D platformer that follows "Classic Sonic" and "Modern Sonic" through stages all across the history of Sonic games. The big gameplay feature of this game is that you get to experience, for instance, the same old Green Hill Zone in a 2D (but with HD graphics) perspective as before, but then in Act 2 you get to see things in a 3D perspective... which is really a whole new stage but with that look and feel of the classic.
Summary: This game have very good details. I really like the bosses in the game, like big arm, biolizard, and the egg emporor. The last boss was really great too and the voice acting. I did not like the 3 bosses which was removed such as: death egg, perfect chaos and egg dragoen. They replaced the rival battes to rival races, and I think the game would be more fun if it was longer.
