The graphics and scenery are beautiful as usual

Summary: This game was incredible. A riveting storyline with a layton-esque twist at the end. The graphics and scenery are beautiful as usual, giving a hand-painted feel, however the 3d renditions of the characters feels "chunky". Ive read many complaints at the number of puzzles available and, quite frankly, I find it astonishing. There are over 120 puzzles in my save at game completion, and I didn't seek out all of the hidden puzzles or go back for missed puzzles.
Summary: I've played all 4 of the previous Layton games which were all excellent, so I had high hopes for the first 3DS installment. I wasn't dissapointed, and it exceeded my expectations. The visuals and sound are as charming as ever, taking full advantage of the 3D capability to create an almost "pop-up book" effect. On top of the puzzle-packed main story and delightful mini-games, 365 free daily puzzles are available, which can be downloaded in one big batch.
Professor Layton series is absolutely the best concept in game making!

Summary: Well, I just received it today, Saturday, and I wasn't even expecting it until Monday or Tuesday! But, there's no doubt I will love this game, I have the first 3 games and they were awesome! Which of course why I got #4 and hopefully soon I'll be able to get game #5 in the series! The puzzles are fantastic, some hard some easy, just a great mix, and following the storyline along with it breaks the monotony of just sitting and playing a bunch of puzzles.
