  • Summary: Some of the puzzles on this game were quite interesting, but however I just didn't feel it. I got bored of the game almost TOO quickly, but it was a simple puzzle game, what else was I expecting? Bit of a disappointment to be honest.

  • Summary: The game is stylus intense game and boring for me. The story is dramatic and full if puzzle games ,if you want to experience a good story , go and watch some epic anime.....This is my personal opinion , the game is not worthy for its price , its design seem to be like an erotic game.......

Play the others first.

  • Summary: It is not my favorite of the Layton games, but it was very enjoyable. Did not use the 3D feature at all, but the improved graphics are nice! For fans of the series it gives a good deal of backstory on younger Layton.

  • Summary: Not a big fan. Puzzles get old after a while. I now just prefer apps on my phone.

For Puzzle Lovers

  • Summary: I had never played a game in the series before and after playing this I am most likely not going to buy another one. The art and cutscenes were cool, but most of the gameplay consists of observing everything around you and I just didn't find that entertaining.

A very beautiful game, with not so great puzzles

  • Summary: It's a great Professor Layton game, with superb voice acting, incredible art and a good set of characters and NPCs... but I found the puzzles to be much less inspired than the ones of the first three games of the series.

Fun diversion

  • Summary: I'm bought this at release and still haven't finished it, mostly because it's a fun diversion when I want to do some puzzles, but as a narrative it doesn't hold my interest. It went on the backburner while I finished Bravely Default, and now Tomodachi Life is taking up my time.

Latest professor Layton

  • Summary: Bought this because I've had and enjoyed the other titles. The. 3d effects are good and the backgrounds excellent but find the game extremely wordy. Seem to have to read through so much dialogue before you can get to any action, and it's the same further into the games.

A bit dissapointing

  • Summary: I played the entire saga and I thought this game would be the best of them.I was wrong:the puzzles are a little boring and not as difficult as the other ones and the use of 3D technology could be way better. The only thing I am happy with is the downloadable puzzles you can enjoy everyday.
