A bit frusterating
Summary: Game is a bit frustrating...seems to be a slower paced game....there are a ton of demos on how to do everything. I am not a game player but asked my son if I could try and I was frustrated even over all the tutorials, you can opt out of them but yawn it is a lot. There are also lots and lots of narratives so it reminds me more of a combination of one of my husbands role playing games and a younger children's game..
Summary: I got this thinking it would be similar to Mario 2 or Super Mario Brothers. It isn't. Although some reviewers found the story to be cute and engaging, I found it annoying. I use my 3DS as mindless entertainment to unwind after a hard day and get my mind back in order. Having to constantly walk up to other characters and read what they say before advancing just wasn't for me. I like levels that you start and go through and then advance to the next.
Must have for "Mario and Luigi" fans, recommended for Mario RPG game fans too.

Summary: Dream Team is one of the best games I own on 3DS. It provides a very lengthy story line and layers of worlds to explore. I'm a grown adult male but I am hooked on the "Mario and Luigi" RPG games. It is a series that our whole family can enjoy. Be aware though that only 2 game save slots are available so if you have 3 wanting to play it someone will have to wait their turn or get two cartridges. The 3D effects are great and the graphics overall are impressive.

Summary: For those that love Mario and Luigi this game is a ton of fun. it's a different take on Mario in more an an open world RPG rather than the linear game play of the original Mario. Note for parents: This is a word intensive game. You need to have a child that can read to play it. I think most kids could figure it out but I spent a ton of time reading and showing my son how to play it. He lost interest because it's a lot of reading. I enjoyed it though.
Summary: I have played all the Mario and Luigi games, but have never finished any of them. They always start out really fun but then they just drag on and I lose interest in them. That is not true for this game. I honestly believe this one is the best one in the series. It kept my interest for the whole entire game, and it took me 45 hours to beat it! The music is incredible and the story is new and exciting.
