Summary: I played Lego Batman 2 on my xbox and loved it, so when I found Lego Harry Potter on sale I thought it was a great find (I did not purchase through Amazon.) I had just gotten a Nintendo 2ds and was really excited about getting a game for it. I am a huge Harry Potter fan and expected to really enjoy it. The game is ...well...boring....and confusing. There doesn't seem to be any real plot to the game.
Summary: This is a good game for anyone who enjoys Lego videogames. However, the spell casting process and overall gameplay is much more challenging. It's like they made the game to match the age group of the characters. My 7 year old who plays Lego games as often as I'll let him, was able to pick up HP years 1-4 and play it with ease. The levels are challenging, but not to the point that he gets angry and frustrated.
A little shorter than my 8 yr old would have liked

Summary: He loves the Lego games, but had this one completed in a relatively short time, given how little he actually plays - the mini movies are clever and funny, the puzzles can be tricky (ie one hidden aspect to a room that can hang up progression and frustrate younger players) - it was fun for him, but didn't have the depth that so many of the other titles have had.
