This game really sets the bar for Harvest Moon Games!
27 January 2015
Summary: I bought this game and Harvest Moon: A Tale Of Two Towns at the same time because who doesn't like Harvest Moon games? I actually really really enjoyed this game compared to A Tale Of Two Towns. Like A Tale Of Two Towns, it gives you a new feel to Harvest Moon Games. In this game you actually rebuild the town yourself while managing your farm. You literally build almost everything in this game.
Summary: Fun game, I got pretty into it, but I just sort of stopped playing it. I would definitely recommend it though, if you're committed. In fact, just writing this makes me want to play it. Maybe I'll pick it up again.
Summary: I love this game. It is addictive. I've been playing Harvest Moon since SNES and this is a clear favorite. It has a lot of the familiar aspects from past games and a ton of new aspects to enjoy. The customization is amazing. As for the begining, it may start off a little slow, but after the first month of in game play it launches. I've not been bored yet.
Summary: I bought this after finishing a Tale of Two Towns, and needless to say I was a little excited for the new changes that were brought into this game! I definitely loved the graphics, loved the way you could make things and place them around your farm and town, but I didn't really begin to love the game till after I had divulged a lot of time into it.
Summary: The introduction/walkthrough is laborious and enough to make the player want to never pick up this game again. The run cycle is odd and never fully becomes a thing I, as the player ignore. I don't mind the villagers, they are the best part of the game but that's about it. The restoration of the town is monotonous and horrible unless you know someone who can help you get the items you need, instead of having to wait a full year in game.
I'm giving this 5 stars because despite things I disliked about it

Summary: I'm giving this 5 stars because despite things I disliked about it, the 1 month tutorial, the choppy gameplay, and the plain jane landscape, harvest moon a new beginning is a wild improvement from it's previous games. The excruciating grinding for money is gone.
Summary: The first Harvest Moon game I ever bought was Harvest Moon DS. It was a long time before I bought my next one, and I have to say I'm very pleased that it was this one. I love the variety in crops and animals, and I love how much easier it is to understand how to craft items in this one. Recipes have made my life so much easier! I was a little disappointed that there were no ducks, but it's a small thing considering how many other animals were added. Love it!
Summary: No matter how old I am ill always love these harvest moon games. There so fun. There great for all ages. You get to do so much. Farm extend the town. GO on trips. In this one you can have a boy or girl once you get married. Its so enjoyable.
