Solid gameplay and beautiful graphics--great fighter for the 3DS!
20 August 2012
Summary: Dead or Alive: Dimensions (DoA:D) is a fast, slick fighter for the Nintendo 3DS. It has tons of unlockable content and very fun gameplay. The main problem I had with the game was with the online multiplayer, which lags pretty often (at least in my experiences with it so far). I bought this game because I really like solid fighters like Street Fighter, Tekken, Marvel vs. Capcom, etc. and have been looking to round out my 3DS collection.
Truly a fun game for the slightly disappointing console

Summary: It's a good game, it really is. The stages are cool, the fighting mechanics are cool, although if this is your first DOA game, many of the characters may seem really flat. Although you should always keep in mind that while some characters may seem lame, the fighting style, techniques, counter modes, and the great fun these fighters bring are impeccable.
Summary: Great, beautiful game, tons of content and the online multiplier works almost without hiccups. My only problem: the 3D effect which is great causes great framerate issue, and the fights are wayyyy too short. Overall one of the best fighters on the system, and to be frank, in other systems.
Summary: Oh, Dead or Alive, how I've missed these games. Back in my teenage years I had a Play Station 2 and one of the games I had for it was Dead or Alive 2, Now, I also had Tekken 4, which was fun and had better graphics and had some neat character customisation tools, but I think I had more fun with DOA2 No, not because of the busty girls! Although I was a teenager... but there was another reason. Interactive, multi-level arenas.
Summary: Dead or Alive Dimensions is simply a fun way to make journeys go quicker, with its eye popping 3D engaging you in the gaming experience. WIth 999 models to collect and characters/costumes too there is always something to do. I never really play fighting games but this one really pulled me in, I love its endless combos for you to master and I like how you can hit your enemies across the map e.g kicking your opposition down the stairs.
Summary: Dead or alive dimensions is gorgeous to look at it makes perfect use of the nintendo 3ds 3d graphic capabilities. For me one the main story is finished the game play feels too repetitive although it's fairly cheap to buy now and fans of beat ups I think will enjoy it although street fighter 4 is a better purchase.
Summary: DoA has something of a sexy reputation due to the booby-bouncing physics that
appear in the game. However, don't let the cheese cake put you off as the sexy
outfits and well endowed girls are only the surface of this deep, very enjoyable
fighter. Great for noobs and fighting fans alike, this is a wonderful beat-em-up
for the 3DS.
