Summary: Although I already had 2 pairs of 3D glasses that came with my 70" Sharp 3D TV, I thought it would be nice to have an extra pair for guests. The Amazon number for the glasses was somewhat different than the the original glasses, but I took a chance and ordered the glasses anyway. I was glad I took the chance. The new glasses have several advantages over the original ones. The on/off switch is on top of the bridge on the new model. It is much easier to access.
Summary: It took a little bit of research to find what 3D glasses work with my Sharp Aquos LC-60LE745U TV. Yearly changes to their televisions means yearly changes to their glasses. I called Sharp customer support, inquiring if the better AN3DG30's would work over the clunkier 20's, after being redirected 3 times they never gave me a clear answer. The Sharp AN3DG30 Active 3D glasses work great. I got these fairly quickly and for a decent price. Thanks!
Summary: We got the 62" 3D Sharp TV and I ordered these glasses. It was almost a year before I rented a pay-per-view 3D movie. Star Trek something. I was very disappointed in the 3D affect. The best 3D was in the center of the TV and if the action was fast it was hard on your eyes. I had a head ache before it was over. So I tried one more, this time a cartoon animation thinking maybe this would be better. Same thing. It was just awful and hard to watch.
